Located 50km from Melbourne, Bacchus Marsh is a very attractive town, surrounded by gorgeous countryside and waterways.
As you approach the town from Melbourne, you are welcomed by the Avenue of Honour, which is lined by hundreds of elm, oak and plane trees, planted to honour those who served in World War I.
With its good mix of shops and services, housed in modern and heritage buildings, this is a lovely area to call home, especially given its excellent health and education facilities.
Weekends will be spent exploring the many surrounding national parks and state forests. There are fantastic picnic spots along the many rivers and the Merrimu reservoir, just a short drive from town, offers BBQ and picnic facilities.
