Capalaba is a suburb of Brisbane in Queensland, described as friendly and safe by its residents.
It's certainly well provided for, with large shopping and commercial centres, two malls and a major bus station, as well as light industrial zones and bushland. It's the second most populated suburb in the Redlands City local government area.
It appears to have a slightly younger population than the Australian average, probably because its proximity to the CBD makes it ideal for young professionals.
Capalaba easily connects to the Gateway Motorway via Old Cleveland Road and Mount Gravatt/Capalaba Road, as well as boasting excellent bus and rail links.
