Bribie Island (Post Code: 4507)

Bribie is the only Moreton Bay island you can drive to, connected to the mainland by a bridge, and within a hour's drive of Brisbane.

A mecca for nature lovers, Bribie Island offers easy access to boating and fishing, bird watching and bushwalking.

Most of the island is uninhabited national park, with the southern end of the island urbanised to include housing, schools, major shopping and entertainment.

Bribie is separated from the mainland by Pumicestone Passage, which not only delivers breathtaking views, but also an amazing array of wildlife, including dolphins, dugong and turtles.
